Safecorp Group is Australian owned and operated, employing over 700 personnel in a diversity of industries.  The company has enjoyed over 30 years of steady profit growth and now ranks in the top 500 Private Companies in Australia.

Safecorp Group Ltd became an unlisted public company in December 2001.

 

Safecorp Group currently operates three distinct businesses:

 
 

Australian Lock Company: acquired in 1989. The Group continues to invest heavily in more sophisticated plant and equipment to augment production and design efficiencies of the world standard BiLock product range. The company manufacturers locks, dual edged keys, high security master keys, intelligent electronic access control locking systems. In 2012, opened ALCO NZ Ltd for its operation expansion into New Zealand.

Laundries: In November 1995, Safecorp Group acquired a majority shareholding in Princes Laundry Services Pty Ltd from Brambles Ltd. In January 1997, Safecorp Group acquired the balance of the shares in Princes Laundry Services Pty Ltd to take it to 100% ownership.

In November 1997, Safecorp Group acquired Sky Fabricare Services Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast in Queensland.  The name was changed to Princes Fabricare Services Pty Ltd and is now the largest commercial laundry on the Gold Coast. In December 1998 Safecorp Group acquired Coastal Laundries Services in Maroochydore, Queensland. Coastal Laundries has now changed its name to Princes Fabricare Services Pty Ltd and is the largest commercial laundry on the Sunshine Coast.

In 2007 Safecorp acquired the combined businesses of Melbourne Linen, Sheldon’s Linen, Del Brocco’s Linen and Prahran Linen and changed its name to Princes Linen Services Pty Ltd based in Altona Melbourne.

In 2016 Safecorp opened a purpose built laundry in Gepps Cross South Australia to cater for the growing Healthcare and Accommodation market of Adelaide and Regional Areas.

The laundries service a wide range of businesses and industries including healthcare, accommodation, aged care and restaurants.

The Company remains committed to growing shareholder wealth through continuous business improvement initiatives and pursuing growth opportunities that add value to its core business segments and that support expansion into new markets

Jeff Peterson

Commenced with Safecorp Group Ltd. in February 1989. Appointed Director and Company Secretary in April 1989. Previous experience in the automotive, transport, construction, earth moving equipment, manufacturing and venture capital markets.


John McNamara

Appointed Director in January 1999. A Civil Engineer by profession, Mr. McNamara is widely experienced in the construction and manufacturing sectors. John has been a Director of several public companies. John is currently a Director of Alto Recruitment specialising in senior placements.


Warwick Brown

(Executive Director)

Appointed Director December 2009. Commenced with Princes Laundry Services in July 2001 in sales and service. Appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2014 of Safecorp Group including Princes Laundry Group, Australian Lock Company and Imperial Linen.


Neil Felmingham

(Non Executive Director)

Neil was appointed a Director in December 2016. Neil was previously a Senior Relationship Manager with ANZ. Neil retired from the ANZ in July 2016 after a 46 year career.
